CASA JCA – ITAIPAVA
A chegada por si só, já é uma declaração.
Placas de concreto sobre grama, vegetação densa — e ao fundo, volumes de pedra e terracota que emergem sem anunciar o que escondem. A casa não se mostra. Ela se deixa descobrir.
O ponto de partida foi o platô.
Um recorte de 2.200m² dentro de um terreno de 12.000m², com abertura para o verde e para o lago do condomínio. A partir dele, desenvolveu-se uma casa totalmente térrea — 950m² construídos que se estendem sobre o solo sem competir com a paisagem.
O elemento que organiza o programa social é a grande cobertura em MLC.
Estruturada em grelha diagonal, com movimento de curva e contracurva, ela interliga varanda, cozinha, sala de estar e área gourmet — apoiada em apenas oito leves pilares metálicos. Vista de baixo, a grelha opera como uma abóbada contemporânea. Vista de fora, existe por si mesma, separada do restante da construção.
Os módulos adjacentes receberam cobertura plana em MLC — contraste deliberado com o movimento da varanda. As paredes em pedra moledo foram detalhadas para receber e esconder totalmente as esquadrias de vidro quando abertas. O exterior não termina. Muda de escala.
Os materiais foram escolhidos com precisão.
O volume central — cozinha, adega, serviços — recebeu textura cimentícia em tom terracota desenvolvida exclusivamente para o projeto, em diálogo direto com a madeira e a pedra. A mesma textura atravessa a área gourmet e a fachada da suíte principal, criando continuidade entre volumes distintos.
As sete suítes têm piso em Tauari natural, esquadrias de piso a teto em alumínio e vidro, e acesso direto à varanda e ao terreno. O programa foi resolvido sem excessos. A suíte principal, destacada dos demais quartos, tem varanda privativa e banheiro com jardim interno — privacidade e presença do verde como dados de projeto, não como bônus.
Na área de spa, a sauna totalmente envidraçada tem ao fundo uma parede cimentícia negra com textura de madeira carbonizada — solução que busca leveza volumétrica em contraste com a rusticidade da pedra. A piscina foi posicionada no limite do talude para explorar a vista para o vale e a condição de borda infinita. O horizonte como parte do projeto.
À noite, a cobertura acende por dentro. Os pilares somem. O que permanece é o calor da madeira refletido na água — e a silhueta das montanhas contra o azul da Serra.
De dia, a casa pertence à paisagem.

The arrival alone is already a statement.
Concrete slabs on grass, dense vegetation — and in the background, volumes of stone and terracotta that emerge without revealing what they hide. The house does not show itself. It allows itself to be discovered.
The starting point was the plateau.
A 2,200m² section within a 12,000m² plot, opening onto the greenery and the condominium’s lake. From there, a single-story house was developed — 950m² of built area extending over the ground without competing with the landscape.
The element that organizes the social program is the large MLC roof.
Structured in a diagonal grid, with a curve and counter-curve movement, it connects the balcony, kitchen, living room, and gourmet area — supported by only eight light metal pillars. Seen from below, the grid operates as a contemporary dome. Seen from the outside, it exists on its own, separate from the rest of the construction.
The adjacent modules received flat MLC roofing — a deliberate contrast to the movement of the balcony. The moledo stone walls were detailed to receive and completely hide the glass frames when open. The exterior does not end. It changes scale.
The materials were chosen with precision.
The central volume—kitchen, wine cellar, services—received a terracotta-colored cementitious texture developed exclusively for the project, in direct dialogue with the wood and stone. The same texture runs through the gourmet area and the facade of the master suite, creating continuity between distinct volumes.
The seven suites have natural Tauari flooring, floor-to-ceiling aluminum and glass frames, and direct access to the balcony and grounds. The program was resolved without excess. The master suite, set apart from the other rooms, has a private balcony and bathroom with an internal garden — privacy and the presence of greenery as design features, not as bonuses.
In the spa area, the fully glazed sauna has a black cement wall with a charred wood texture in the background — a solution that seeks volumetric lightness in contrast to the rusticity of the stone. The pool was positioned at the edge of the slope to take advantage of the view of the valley and the infinity edge. The horizon is part of the design.
At night, the roof lights up from within. The pillars disappear. What remains is the warmth of the wood reflected in the water — and the silhouette of the mountains against the blue of the Serra.
During the day, the house belongs to the landscape.
